Mission

As part of the Drug Discovery & Development – DDD – platform, OligoNova Biology offer industry-standard infrastructure, expertise, and strategic support to translate fundamental research findings into patient-benefitting therapeutic oligonucleotide molecules. We do this in collaboration with OligoNova Chemistry and the other facilities at SciLifeLab DDD and Swedish academic groups.

Our expertise goes from bioinformatics to cell-based-assays and supporting in-vivo studies. From high-throughput screens and “omics” to deep characterization and phenotyping.

Besides, our main “full-drug-discovery project”, our unit is engaged in research and development of new methods. We offer consultancy and access to state-of-the-art instrumentation to academics and biotech/pharma companies – “service projects” -.

We are always open to innovations & new technologies and look forward to collaborate with you and support your basic and translational scientific research and the development of the drugs of the future.
