Re-Imaging and Re-Imagining Science
December 11 @ 11:30 – 14:00 CET
As part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the Science & SciLifeLab Prize for young researchers, we have got the honour to host a lunch seminar with Shirley Malcom who is senior advisor and director of SEA Change at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). For more than 40 years at AAAS she has worked to improve the quality and increase access to education and careers in STEMM for all.
For the SciLifeLab audience, Shirley will not only give an inspiring lecture. She will also take part of a panel discussion and attend an open discussion/networking session.
Do not miss out on this opportunity!
Questions to be discussed;
- How we can look critically at what is being done and not being done regarding inclusion?
- How do we support excellence and what do we want research to look like?
- What kind of engagement do we want?
- How do we bring assets into science and take advantage of people’s differences?
