SciLifeLab Infrastructure outreach week
January 24 @ 08:00 – January 27 @ 17:00 CET
SciLifeLab is a national infrastructure within life science available for researchers in academia, healthcare, and industry. We provide access to a range of nationally unique and internationally competitive technologies in molecular biosciences that can be used to address questions in a broad range of life science disciplines.
During four sessions we will highlight our capabilities to provide services within the research areas 1) drug discovery, 2) precision medicine, 3) ecosystem surveillance and evolutionary biology and 4) structural biology. We will present relevant technologies available at SciLifeLab and illustrate their utilization by user cases related to the topic of each session.
Program
Jan 24 at 13:00-15:00
Is your idea ready for drug discovery?
No matter whether your answer is yes or no, the national infrastructures for target- and drug discovery can help you move your project forward. This session introduces you to the capabilities and technologies spanning the entire range from high-throughput genetic and chemical screening for target identification via drug design using medicinal chemistry and molecular biology to preclinical proof of concept before pre-clinical development. Former and current users will give you a user’s perspective of the infrastructures.
Target audience: We welcome all Swedish academic and research groups and industrial users to hear about our platform activities!
SciLifeLab units presented: Drug Discovery and Development Platform (DDD), Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden (CBCS), CRISPR Functional Genomics (CFG), Chemical Proteomics
