Description of the work place
SciLifeLab (https://www.scilifelab.se) is a national research infrastructure (RI) for molecular life sciences, assigned by the Swedish government to provide cutting-edge technology and expertise to Swedish researchers. SciLifeLab’s vision is to enable groundbreaking, interdisciplinary research that would otherwise not be possible to conduct in Sweden, and to promote research with a societal impact.
To further increase the visibility and strengthen SciLifeLab as a resource a national level, its board decided in 2021 to establish sites at four universities outside the host universities in Mälardalen, one of which is located in Lund. SciLifeLab Lund currently consists of eight cutting-edge RIs, focusing on genomics, proteomics, imaging, structural biology, drug development and bioinformatics. The site is led by a Director and functions as a coordinating umbrella unit, through which the included RIs can interact with leading RIs and other key stakeholders across the country.
SciLifeLab Lund is now looking for a driven, knowledgeable and outgoing data science coordinator who wants to work in a key role to promote the further advancement of SciLifeLab.
